Is anyone else paranoid about losing thier ring??!!
It's been about 7 months since we have been engaged, but I am still paranoid about losing my ring!!! Does anyone else feel this way or am i just nuts!!??
I literally wake up in the middle of the night in a panic and have to feel my finger to make sure it's there...I think I need to relax! Just so much going on!
Please tell me there is someone else out there like meeeeeeeeeeee

OMG, thank you !!!
I check my ring like 100 times a day and definitely before I go to bed and right when I wake up. I think I have a slight case of OCD

YES! And/or damaging it. lat week I was convinced my center stone was chipped.
It's not, I was just being crazy.

I am SO happy i'm not the only one. I was starting to think something was really wrong with me.
and then i see these ladies who only wear their wedding band, and i think...am I going to do that b/c I can't stand the 'pressure' of my e-ring?? omg!!!
then my fiance tries to chill me out...he is so laid back...he must think i am a nut case

Hi Mel! Actually I am not. I think its because of the insurance? I mean sometimes I think about it being stolen ie when I go do laundry and leave it in my apt with the door unlocked.

hey! yea, but one of my stones was his g-mas maybe that makes it more stressful?? i dont know!!

I worry about the diamond falling out... and I have no insurance. I keep asking my dad to put it on the homeowner's policy and he keeps forgettng... I have been asking since i got it in in Dec!!

to funny- sometimes I think its not there and get freeked out for a sec- and sometimes if I am smoking in the car and go to flick it out the window i think it better not fall out the window

You should get insurance ASAP. I pay alittle over 500 a year - its through Chubb.

YEah, sometimes I take it off if i'm going somewhere I think is shady. I also happen to see someone whenever I take it off, and they're like wheres your ring, then I regret not wearing it!

Ive only been engaged for alittle over a month and I am so paranoid about loosing it! Even my finance checks to see if its still there. I take it off to do everything!!

I was given a good piece of advice from my jewler....Don't take the ring off because that is when you will lose it...Ever since they told me that, the ring has not left my finger. Even last weekend, we painted our bedroom & my ring was on my finger...I do check it constantly because I know if it was ever lost, FH would kill me (even though we have insurance)

I'm not too worried about it. I take it off when I sleep, do dishes and shower (because it gets really loose), but I always put it in the same place.

me!!! It's his grandmothers diamond and I am so afraid of losing it, I barely ever take it off, and when I take it off I make sure it's right in front of me.

That's what I was gonna say, why would you ever take your ring off? I sleep with it on, shower, go swimming....

Im sure we all worry about losing our ring! I run out of the house and make sure its on and then bug when it isnt thinking, WHERE IS IT?
Best thing girls, is insure it!!!
Its going to be upsetting to lose it but even more upsetting when u cant replace it. Insuring it can and will.

I take it off for the gym, showering, sleeping....when it's off, it's locked in my house, in the original box it came in. But I always check that it's there when I get home.

I am now that I got the new setting. I guess because it is now like double the price that it orginally was I kinda freak every now and then.
I still have yet to get it insured also, so i need to do that.
