is anyone else using HEART AND SOUL BAND?

i am.

michael is on my contract. i know he left the band and is not showcasing with them anymore. i emailed franklin wayne and he told me that he is still honoring the weddings that he is on the contract for...anyways, i fm'ed a girl who had them (she posted on brides review) and she said he was on her contract too but did not show up...someone else was there in his place.

also-michael's face is still on their website promoting the band...

anyone else concerned about this???

no i emailed franklin wayne and i had an email stating that michael will apper in all contracts that he has been arranged to work with. he is also on the contract that was signed and begun to be paid for...

additionally since he has left the band he has played for 2 weedings my parents attended within the past 4 months.

if he is not there we will (or my parents will) possibly ask for some $$ back or use some sort of legal action.

u should email them. he could have had a family emergency or was ill...

trying to look at other possibilities, bc the last wedding my parents went to was in umm september and he was there.

i did email a few months ago when i heard he 'left' and they said he is honoring all the contracts that he is on...i would think they would call or send a letter if he is gone for good i guess???

yeah you are the one that FIRST got me all worried....

good customer serive is to let all outstanding customers know of this change.

or at least notify you when you send them $ towards paying off the band and thier services...


when u book them you book all the ppl on the contract... for them to accept $$ for someone that was NOT on teh contract is false advertising, and poor service.

I actually just spoken to FW today, because Michael is NOT on my contract.

I saw them at a showcase in June and he was there but I didn't book on the spot. Then I saw them in September and Michael was already gone and they couldn't put him on my contract.

Anyway, when I spoke to them today they said they've officially replaced Michael and they are now showcasing with this new person. I am going to see the band at the showcase at the Watermill on December 18th to check out the new guy and decide if I want to add him to my contract.

Maybe you guys can go check out a showcase with the new guy. I know Michael has promised to honor all of his contract dates, but in the event that he just doesn't show to your wedding, at least you can see the new guy and have peace of mind that the replacement is good.

Also, when I spoke to them today they said Jill is also honoring all her booked dates but is no longer with the band/booking future dates. Just in case either of you added Jill...

I assume the reason they haven't notified you guys is because, for the purposes of your wedding, there are no changes. Jill and MIchael are still showing up to your weddings, so they probably don't want to panic you. I do agree with you, though, that if even the SLIGHTEST possibility exists that one or both of them might not show, you should know that WAY in advance!

I promise to keep you guys posted if I hear anything else about this stuff.

Nope - I booked them as 7 pieces with the intention of adding whoever they got to replace Michael as long as he was good. I had originally seen them as 8 pieces with Michael, but honestly even when I saw them with him I thought that Genessa was the star of the show and she is led me to book them even as 7 pieces. I e-mailed today with the hope of adding Jill after seeing some footage of her on Supernova, but they said I could not add her at this point. I'm really not too upset though, because I love Genessa and have never in seen Jill perform live.

I am sure, though, that Jill is worth it - she seemed AWEEEEESOME on Supernova!
