I would LOVE to if would could afford it.. I joke that FH has to become the next Emeril so that i may do just that

But if we cant, Then FMIL will watch the children since she doesnt work. Atleast they will be with family.

I plan to work part time nights. One of us will be home. If not, grandma and grandpa will gladly babysit here and there.

Re: IS ANYONE GOING TO

well Fh brought something up about when i get pregnant and i stay home so he'll have to support all of us but uhhmmm that was weird lol...I want to see where we are financially at the time, i wont make any of those decisions without knowing that first...Would it be nice? yes but to cut one of our incomes when were going to need it most bc we just brought a child into this world that we have to care for, is going to be hard. Maybe work less hours or less days would be a good option.

There are a few things I want FH and I to get into business wise before we have children, if that works out then i would be able to stay home with the kids and we would have enough coming in financially so it would be great

i highly doubt it. I mean if fh starts to make $$$ and we can afford to I may just do a freelance graphic design business at home part time. We really would have to see.

I will but I'll probably start a day care after they are a little bit older out of the house. That's what I've always wanted to do!

Re: IS ANYONE GOING TO

i would love to but i doubt it is possible with a mortgage ( for us) FH promised me i wouldnt have to work. . . but i dont think we can do it and still live like we want to. My sister stopped working, and they got stuck in an apartment and havent been away since their HM. FH and I would be miserable, so I would rather work and be able to enjoy our lives together and take my kids away and be able to have them in after school activities etc.

my mom can't wait to watch my babies! plus my job has a great day care if i need it.

Re: IS ANYONE GOING TO

as much as i would love to spend all my time nurturing my children, i think i would go nuts if i didnt work. i went through alot of years and $$ to get through school and would not be able to give that up just yet. i think i would end up resenting my child too much if i did that. i hold no jugdment whatsoever to those who want to stay home because i think that ultimately is the hardest job and best for the children, but it wouldnt work for me. FH says hes willing to be a stay at home dad. we might consider that option and be a little unconventional.

Re: IS ANYONE GOING TO

I am VERY ANTI- DAYCARE!!!! I worked at a daycare for almost 2 years and I will never send my kids to one!!!!! I did the best I could and so do all the teachers there. The best example I can use is that according to state laws we can have 4 infants to one teacher!!! so your child may be your whole world but to the teacher they are one of four!!! By the time the kids are 4yrs old there is one teacher to every 8 kids!!!! I worked in a corporately owned daycare that pretty much everyone knows the name of, they are located all over the country. My suggestion if you absolutely have to do daycare is a small one, do some research there are ones in peoples homes that have been around for a really long time. The whole idea of a corporation is to make money, and to this corporation your child is just another check coming in. I can keep ranting for hours about why you shouldn't use corporate owned day cares for more info or questions FM me
