is anyone not doing these:

- cake topper --- im thinking abotu just doing flowers on top, i cant find anything i like :(
- we do letters/love letters on cake table - with 1 month away i dont know if i want to be bothered wiht it
- picture/table numbers - i dont know if i want to do it, it seems so time consuming & im thinking it might be too much...

ANyone with me?

I'already elminated the slipper basket. lol.
I just dont have the time

i am not doing a cake topper but i never planned on doing one. I dont like alot of cake toppers PLUS doesnt really go with my cake

i am not sure if i like the 'We DO ' letters anymore so might not do it

table numbers i will do

I didn't have a cake topper or 'I do' letters....I did make my table numbers though. I wanted my birdies to be there in spirit Honestly, they didn't take all that much time, they were probably my easiest and cheapest DIY.

PS didn't do a slipper basket either.

i dont think we are going to do anything with our cake....no flowers, no monogram - maybe we'll get some crystal snowflakes or something along those lines to put on it but i havent seen anything that i really like...

we are doing table #'s - we are going to use pictures of our dog

im doing programs but i dont think im going to do any menus - if i did do menus i would do the circle ones - i LOVE those!

you arent being lazy - i bet nobody even appreciates or notices half the things we do! hopefully our guests will be to busy having a good time to notice all the small details....

I completely understand where your coming from. I'm feeling a bit lazy too.
I am doing a cake topper. I do not know about the table numbers. I feel like its an added expense that no one will notice but me and my mom.

As far as the 'we do' letters go, I never wanted to do them. No offense to anyone who likes that idea, it was just never my thing. Thought it was a bit cheesy. But that's just me.

Don't stress yourself out over these things... honestly most people won't even notice.

with that said... FH and I aren't doing the We Do letters since there isn't room on our table for them. We're putting real flowers on our cake top. FH like to keep things simple. Also we're doing just plain table numbers, no pictures, it can add a nice touch, but not worth all the trouble.

No cake topper for me. Just flowers on top, but i am doing table numbers. I think it's a nice touch. But I am going to do them now cause I agree when it gets closer you won't want to be bothered. If you don't want to do it and hte place gives numbers just use theirs? Its up to you!

so far I'm totally with you except for the table numbers (only because a very talented friend is doing them for me). I am not doing any of the other things you mentioned.

Your wedding is soo close. Amazing!

i think thats what i am going to do for the table numbers. I have to meet with my DOC soon in person, and they have laurie who is a former LIW bride on their design team. Not sure if she can do them for me since i dont have the full wedding planning package so i have to find out. If not i guess ill do it myself since it should be pretty easy

IF your cake is ornate you don't need a topper. The flowers on top is a lovely idea

Table numbers is really your call. As long as tables show some type of numbering you should be fine. Most RHs offer standard numbers they could provide you.
Don't stress over the little things

ur not alone!! i'm not doing cake topper (just fresh flowers on top and cascading down). No we do letters and i'm using the RHs table numbers!

the menus/programs and favors are enough DIY for me! you'll be fine
