Is anyone not getting their BM jewelry???

Hi-
I'm trying to think of something else to get them.
I feel if I get them jewelry they might never wear it again.
So I'm thinking maybe a gift certificate to a spa.
Any suggestions???

Spa GC is a great gift. If you're worried about them not wearing the jewelry again, pick something that can be worn both dressy and casual. Tha's what I did for my girls and I've seen them wear it since the wedding.

I didn't get them jewelry. Well, my MOH got jewelry but not 'traditional' stuff - I bought her a 18Y mother of pearl pendant on 16' chain from Tiffany & Co. SHe wore it the second I gave it to her (at the RD!)

The BM's got wristlets from Coach and the reader got a make-up case from Coach. They were all really glad it wasn't jewelry.

Oh, and in addition to the jewelry I also got the a bunch of other stuff. I bought everyone matching satin pajamas because we were all sleeping at the hotel and getting ready together. I got them fleece blankets, photo album that matched the wedding colors, a nice frame, candles, and aeromatherapy package from Bath and Body Works, and I paid for their shoes to be dyed.

In addition to jewelry, I got them the same tote bag along with a monogramed jewelry bag, a picture frame, a bunch of Bliss Spa products, I am paying for their makeup to be done and I plan on buying them some sort of t-shirt and probably a few more small things. I am out of control.

I actually don't have a close up picture, but they were marquisite and garnet (I think they were fake garnets) necklaces and garnet studs. They were normally $40, but I got them for $20 when Macy's was having a sale. They matched their dresses beautifully and they wreen't that expensive, so I figured even if they didn't wear them again, which they have, it wouldn't be that big of a deal.

I think this picture may be the best one I have scanned right now...

I got my girls each a bag and inside I put a gift certificate to a store appropriate for them. One got Victoria's Secret, another Sephora, Bed Bath & Beyond, Crate and Barrel, Lowes (building her 1st house) and Bliss spa. They all really liked them.

I got a bag from Lillan vernon. I also purchased monogramed compact mirrors and will be putting other purse oriented items in it like a travel size perfume etc.

I did something similar for my girls for the bachelorette party. We spent a long weekend in Newport and I made them all beach bags with towels, sunblock, flip flops, beach frames, beac scented candles, etc... I was actually able to find almost all of it at various dollar stores and the girls absolutely LOVED them!
