I don't think I'll be doing it either. The ones I like are a fortune or the others look cheesy to me or don't look like us:)

Nope. I think cakes looks classier without them. But it depends on the cake.

We did not have a cake topper. Here's a picture of our cake (FYI: We did not want the real flowers on the side of the cake either, but did not realize they were there until after we sat down for dinner).

We are not having a cake top,we are having buttercream flowers on top & cascading down the side.

This is my cake, will fall colored flowers though. I don't want anything on the top because I can't find anything I like.

I might have a cake topper. I saw this one in a magazine and I really liked it. It's different. So if I have a topper at all, I will definitely use this one.

we didnt have one - just flowers, etc.
We did use an ornament (one of those first x-masses together from fortunoff) and hung it on a little stand. The ornament was like $6, and now we'll have something special from our wedding on our christmas tree (even tho we got married in june)
