Is anyone NOT using the RH for their Cake??

Ok so I've heard lots of mixed reviews on Ergas bakery.....and there is another bakery that I LOVE that I would like to get my cake from....so my question is......

Have any of you priced a a SIMPLE buttercream cake to feed about 200 people??? I'm curious how much this cake will run me roughly....thanks!

we werent going to but CLM charges a cake 'cutting fee' that would be the amount that they would give us off for not using their cake.

I know right!? Im going to argue this when i go meet with them...i want to tell them give me the freakin knife and i will cut it myself!

tell them to freaking take it out of the amount they take out of your rh bill just for the cake. They apply about $250 or so to the cake so since you wont get it from them thats $250 or so that they keep for nothing.

Say something. I didnt use the cake provided by my Rh and didnt get charged a cake cutting fee, infact i was given extra stuff bc they told me that x amount is taken from my total amount and applied towards the cake that they give to the bakery, so since that amount wont go towards the cake i was able to get extra stuff at CH

the credit would be for 300 dollars or so...but then they charge that 300 dollars as a cutting fee...so you really dont get any money off...its such C R AP! I will DEFINITELY be opening my big yap when we go see them

Well I guess not everyone since Espo said she didn't a few posts above. I'm going to hope I fit in to the exception to the rule! I guess I'm bothering my bm tomorrow!

that's bs...a cake cutting fee....yeah right!!!!! girl fight it don't fall for it.

I'm not getting the cake from the RH but when i was talking to my consultant about it....she laughed saying'ok no prob...we'll charge you the cake cutting fee' and i laughed and said...ha ha ha no problem i will deduct it off the gratuity then she said kiddinggggggg!!!!!!

she better be.....

don't give in you're paying a lot of $$$$$ how dare they

We are not using our RH cake..

yeah no cake cutting fee here, and like i said above, not only wasnt i charged extra but they threw things in for me which i didnt even ask for. The moment i said it they were like 'oh ok thats fine, so now you get to choose extras for your CH' we were able to pick 3 extra stuff to have.
