Is anyone planning on seeing the new movie WORLD TRADE CENTER?

Original post by N.Y.bride

I couldn't. Theres just no way and I pray Anthony doesn't. I think it would bring back all the bad memories, not like they've gone anywhere anyway.

Are you interested in seeing it?

I will not see it. I didn't personally know anyone, but my heart aches for each and every person lost. Why does this need to be a movie?

I won't see it...not any time soon at least. I was there, saw it first hand, and that was more than enough. But I do believe movies about 9/11 need to be made. If this movie can recreate the mood, the fear, all the emotions so many of us experienced that day then it needs to be shown all over the country. No one should forget what happened, and if you weren't here to bear witness to it then it's a lot easier to forget about it. I can't and probably no one on this board can, but believe it or not there people (generally outside of NY or DC) who can.

Yes. My father's friend's brother-in-law is one of the survivors whose story the movie tells. (Not Nicholas Cage -- the guy from Crash is the actor)The survivors had input throughout the whole process of writing and filming the movie.

It's going to be unbearably sad and last night, I cried watching a commercial for the movie. But, the movie will be more about these two guys who were the last people found alive than anything else.
