Is anyone registered at a place that they didn't let their guests know about and...
did anyone end up buying from that registry even though it wasn't included on the registry cards?
just wondering because I do have a registry at Crate and Barrel, but I didn't include it on my registry card information. Just wondering if I have a chance of some guests taking a chance and checking to see if I'm registered there on their own and getting me stuff off of it. I didn't list it because I felt like I had too many registries listed.

We wanted to go with Crate and Barrel but already had 2 other registries so we didn't.
I don't think people will take it upon themselves to check that store. There are so many other stores that are 'traditional' registry places, I wouldn't think of Crate and Barrel as one of them.
But I just had a thought. Does C&B do a discount for the items left on the registry? If you're not really planning on giving out that info, you could put everyday stuff on there, or things that you were planning on buying yourself anyway. Treat it like a C&B coupon if you will.
Come to think of it, what's to stop you from doing that anywhere? They don't ask proof for marriage. We did our registries online. You could totally make the whole thing up.

If they pull up your registries through Wedding Channel they will find it and might buy something off of it. Especially if a lot of stuff is gone from the other registries.
My friend had registered at 3 stores and only told her guests about two of them. I stuck to the stores she told us though since I figured it was the stuff she'd want more.
