Is anyone using skinny, tall candles...

...I'm sure there is a name for those types of candles but I don't know what it is. I think that they'e very elegant but I don't know if they will last all night and I'm nervous that they'll drip all over the place. Has anyone had experience with these before?

Is anyone using skinny, tall candles...Tapers

They are called Tapers. I have seen some tapers labeled dripless but I dont have any experience with them. I would get a sample and try it out.

I tried the dripless tapers before my wedding and they dripped all over. I don't think there is such a thing. At least I haven't seen any yet.

Is anyone using skinny, tall candles...Tapers

There are drippless candles but if there is any breeze (as from an A/C or an open window) the candle will drip. Hope that helps. Lisa

Also, sometimes they are at the wrong height. If there are in the view of the people across the table, I've seen people move them or even blow them out.

We`re using hurricane lamps, with taper candles

that are provided by my hall. I want to add something to them, so my florist will create grapevine wreaths decorated in a fall theme, and the candle will sit in the middle. Since it will be indoors, and protected by the glass, it won`t blow out.
