Is anyone using this as centerpieces

Original post by pinky424

If so do you know what kind of feathers these are? I want to get them for a cheaper price than what they have on there website but I have not clue where to look for them.

The first picture on here is similar to MarcellaBella's and see later on in the thread someone posted some her actual pictures. If I remember correctly, her and Tarakinspa made them together then helped each other by setting them up at each other's receptions. Search both of their reviews. I remember them talking about starting their own business - so I would try to contact them.

I found two reviews of Tara's wedding and bumped them, I couldn't find Marcella's.

I like it, but I'm not sure if I would use something like that for my wedding. I think flowers are more appropriate for a wedding. I like it for my bridal shower., I'm gonna show my mom!!......

I think it is appropriate for a wedding and very elegant. Plus I have never seen it before and I would like to have something that was not used before since I am the last to get married in my family.

Hi ok I WAS very into this had florist come to my HOME and try to concock what marcella and tara did- they are in business and want 250 per piece for me thats crazy I need 18 centerpieces, anyhow NO florist on long island can come up with the exact same thing they made they got their pieces from fancy faces.com they sell to wholesalers thats how they got the products,- BUT PARTY SENSATIONS AND their prices start at 150 and up NOT including SET UP AND BREAKDOWN. the cost trying to get the feathers myself on line anywhere LA was the cheapest I found was still 25 dollars for 12 AND to get the full effect you need like 30. the vases in the photo you show are called eifel - not sure of spelling -tower you can do a search , Franks who are going out of business has them in clear I believe in the 30 inch tall, after doing enormous searches I found them to be a very popular TREND in BAT MITZVAHS, after seeing that I didnt think it was elegant for a wedding anymore. If you are willing to spend over 250 per centerpiece I say go for it but you can find many elegant and different flower centerpieces that would make your wedding its own. Good Luck!!

This is the website I told you about earlier:

http://web.ivenue.com/tonyhillnet//index2.ivnu?or_id=&cu_id=&st_id=lampl352582ad4c

It is a company in California that sells all types of feathers. Jen from Hair Genie gets the credit of telling me about it!! When I went for my hair trial, I was commenting on some she had displayed in her home and she told me about the website.

when I looked up the ostrisch ones, they were $7.00 per feather (long ones)!! So, that can get pretty expensive if someone said you needed 30 to get that look. Maybe you could just use them as an accent?

Hope this helps.
