The only two things that I have booked so far are my hall and church. I feel that it is still so far away. I know what photographer and DJ I'm having with their prices, but I haven't made it official yet. Should I really be doing all these things already?

I have my hall, church, and video/photo.
I feel that if I book now, I will lock in lower prices. If you book late in 06 and in 07, people may raise their prices. But I don't think you have to worry - there is pleanty of time!

Don't feel too pressure dto get it all done right away. I did not finish booking all my vendors until December 2005 for a Feb 2006 wedding.

I booked all most all of my vendors. I did it over 1 year little by little. I like to get things out of the way.

If you have your heart set on specific vendors, I would suggest booking them. So far, 2 photographers I wanted are both booked.

The hall is a big thing so your in good shape if you have an idea on DJ/photographer as well. I have hall, church, band, photographer, limos & my dress. I'm taking it easy now just taking my time looking into Florists & BM dresses.

We have our hall, church, band, video and photo booked - we just have flowers and limos left. We knew what band, video and photo we wanted so we didn't have to price around and I like just getting things out of the way so we booked everything right away. I'm waiting until March or April to book limos and then I'll probaley look into flowers over the summer.

I definitely haven't booked anywhere near everything!
I have offically booked my hall. That's it. We're having the ceremony there, so I don't need a church, so technically it could count as two, I guess.
We have our officiant, but we didn't 'book' him, as he's a friend of the family who just happens to be a judge.
I'm currently on the hunt for my photographer, next comes the band or the flowers. I slacked off for about a month after I booked the hall, and now I'm moving again.
I would book things though, especially if you already know who you want, they fill up fast!

I booked most of my vendors. Just need to do Limos and Flowers (and dresses)

I booked my hall, the church has us in their book, booked the florist, photo/video, and we know the dj we are using but we just need to leave a deposit. Limos are next.

In fact, we only have the hall.
The church told me to come back in a few months, becuase they don't have the 07 book yet!

i have church,hall,photo/video,flowers,dj booked, im waiting a while for limos and invites...however i have noticed how prices esp photo have gone up quite a bit within last couple months so you may want to at least get on that and start getting quotes before they go up yet again

I only booked my hall and church so far. The next thing I would like to do is the DJ. I know which one I want already and then the video and photographer which I don't know who to use yet. Flowers is the last thing I'm worried about.

We booked everything but my hair and makeup, which I'm having my make-up trial in April, haven't decided on hair yet. I have ideas for BM dresses narrowed down to 4. I'm in good shape.

All we've booked so far is the church and the reception site. We're starting to look around at other things like DJ and photographer so we can get the 06 prices, but we are just starting...we have a meeting on Saturday with East Wind's Bridal Department who can help with vendors.
