is everyone getting e-pics?!

before this forum I didn't even know what they are . . . is everyone doing them? what are they for?

FH & I are taking epics bcuz we dont have many pics together and were using 2 of the photos for singing boards 1 for the shower the other for the wedding

I don't like engagement pics I think there cheesy (no offence to anyone)- it was something free our photographer threw in with our package - definitely not something I would have payed extra for...

eta: the nice thing was we actually have some decent pics of us together now LOL

only a few thing are actually 'needed' for a wedding or in you wedding prep....

Me too, never heard about it before the forum either, but our photographer said he'll do them free of charge (I'm sure we'll be charged somewhere)

nope we're not doing them.. I'm sure if I asked my Uncle to take e-pics of us he would, but neither of us are really into it

FH & I took them and used them for our save the dates plus it is nice to have professional pictures of ourselves

we are doing them, but they are not for STD for us.....my photographer said he likes to do them a few months prior to the wedding so he gets to know the couple and what type of style works for them.

We are doing them. We want professional pics of ourselves (the only pics we have are where FH is holding the camera and shooting us both lol).

We also want to work with our photographers before the big day.

We took them in our photographer's studio. But we've also been given the option of having a second set off site, so we're just trying to decide where to go. The session is free, so I figure why not. We just have to pay for any prints we might want.

ETA: we used one of ours on our STD.

I initially wasn't going to but then our photographer threw them in. He actually had an awesome idea and is going to use the epics to create our wedding day guest book :)

Well I'm doing e-pics for my wedding album. i don't necessarily want a slideshow at the reception but I definitely want a variety in my album. I'm getting 3 photoshoots so I can capture all of the seasons!

We're not doing them. We were thinking of adding them, but FH doesn't really want to get them...he said it may take away from the wedding photography experience on our actual wedding day (because we would have already had a professional photo shoot)....so we decided not to add them into our package.

I am but only because it came with our package. At first i thought that I needed but now I dont even want them. It's all up you whether you get them or not. I'm using mine but I woulndnt have it I didnt already pay for it.
