That is so funny! My hall has hard wood floors in the ball room and random area rugs. The 1st thing I said when we looked at the room was 'these rugs can go right?' I've been back a few times with my family and have commented on the ruges each time

i have a huge rug issue too... my rh had a rug and then we went to dinner there one night and they had torn it up and replaced it with all wood floors... my fh wrote the deposite check that night!!!

One place in particular I went to, I turned to the guy and basically said you expect brides and grooms to actually pay $$ to have their guests sit in a room with stained carpets and tears? Plus it was UGLYY! Ithere are a bunch of girls on here that are getting married at this place and I just couldn't get out of there fast enough!
