Is it me?

theres another reason i think this might happen. MANY times a new person will come post and ask a question. A bunch of us we'll sit there and answer all their questions, even look up info for them but they won't even reply thank you or never reply back period. I think since alot of us see this happen alot we think ok am i about to sit here and write out this whole post for somebody and try to help them out and not even a thank you or even to let us know that they read the post ya know. Not that a person is expecting this big OMG thank you, but at least a post to show that we didn't just write all that for no reason.

With frequent posters, well you know they'll come back to read it and respond. AND i'll get alot of responses on my threads but then again half of the posts will be mine in the thread bc i thank people, i respond to peoples posts, answer questions.

I always just look at the topic..and if I feel I can help, I'll reply. Honestly though, I'm on a lot late at nite and I realize how fast some posts get pushed to the 3rd or 4th page...they can be posts with a lot of replies and by the time I get on they are dead and on page 4 lolz..don't take it personal..I really do feel the majority of girls on here love to help regardless of who they are helping!

i agree. i have posted a topic or have seen a topic that ends up on 'later' pages after a few minutes. i think some things just get lost in the 'shuffle' of everyone posting. i really hope no one takes offense if that happens to a post, it happens to most peoples!

I've also noticed that if you post on a contraversial thread and give your opinion and someone diagrees they don't take your post seriously if you don't have a lot of posts. They actually will say in not so many words that you don't post a lot what do you know. That is hysterical

I post often and a lot. I think that is why I do get a lot of responses back. I try to be as helpful as I can.

There seems to be a whole bunch of generalizations about Posters and Threads- If you want to 'call out' some one do it.

Please realize that MOST girls on here are helpful and will do what they can to relax you when you are upset,, calm your vendor fears, and be excited right along with you.

There are girls (including me) who speak to the same girls daily, via instant messenger and email. Also if we are on all day from work and what not and talk on the threads, then maybe that is why those people get responded to-
People come be friends and clique-y it happens. Please realize it's not because you smell, or wear PJ's all day! (( we would never know)).

I think that the more you reply to people, the more replies you GET. Denise usually replies to everyone, and so people might be more apt to reply to her b/c they feel like she took time to reply to them. Just an example, there are other girls like this also.

i agree with this.....even though we dont know eachother personally when you reply back and forth a lot with certain people you feel like you do know the person on some weird internet level so i guess i do feel more comfortable posting to brides who post to me.....i dont usually read every topic i skim through and read the ones that intrest me or that i can help with - i never look at who posted the topic....i probably annoy the 09 girls because i just randomly post on their boards - i want to get to know their boards since im a december bride and will be posting more with them when it gets close to my date....

yea maybe this happens, but alot of times the posts are similar, if you respond in one you're not going to respond in the other....alot of times I don't reply because I'm at work

Personally, I try to respond to everyone, but alot of the posts about 'look at what my FH got me...' or 'check out what my dog did today' things that are not necc WR, then I'm not really going to post if I don't have time.

Please don't get insulted though, we're all brides...we alll need help!

I never look at the poster before I open up a thread to read. If its something I can give advice to or have an opinion about, i'll post. But if I have nothing to say about it, I won't. That said, I have felt like that though on occasion even though I am one with a lot of posts myself and have been here for about 2 years!

Exactly. Responding in your own thread is a big help too.

I'm sorry you feel this way, sometimes its hard to reply to every thread. We're all here for you and feel free to FM any time you have any questions!!

i think people who post a lot more are just more likely to get responses.

I do searches on things I am interested in knowing about.

I don't read every single post because I don't have time.

If you need info, keep posting!

Everyone on here posts for different reasons, trying to figure out their reasons is futile!
