To be upset with a few people?
My shower was a few weeks ago. Many of my friends live out of town and did not come. Which I completely understand, I wasn't expecting them to be there.
But I have to admit hat I am a little disappointed that they didn't send anything![]()
Especially those friends who are married and when I wasn't able to make it to their showers I did send either a gift from the registry or a GC for the store they're registered at.
One of my friends, who I haven't seen in 6 years (b/c she's moved all around the world), and who I only really hear from through Xmas cards and an occasional email, was so nice an did send me a card. It was so thoughtful of her to do so and it made me really happy.
But that also just made me upset that my other friends didn't put forth any effort what so ever.
