I was out last weekend with my girls and we was trying on dresses. I saw 2 ladies with there fh. Trying on dresses. so when I told one of my girls I was going to let Dave decide which dress was nicer my girls said no he cant see the dress. so my question to you ladies are we still doing the traditional no seeing until the big day or honey pick one
haha nice picture. Think about it, would you prefer the surprise of him seeing you for the first time in the dress? I think most girls would, but think about it.

I won't even let FH see a stock photo of my dress or anything that looks remotely close to it LOL
That is one part I am going to be completely traditional about. I'm actually not even letting my father see my dress until the day of.

It's really up to you. At first I was adamantly against it! When I started having dress regret, my answer was to drag him kicking and screaming to see me in the dress. I expected tears! I thought he'd be blown away. Instead I got 'it's ok'. This sealed the deal for me and I bought a different dress. Because of this I am SO glad that he saw the dress before the wedding.

I don't necessarily think it's bad luck, but I want FH to be surprised so he has not seen my dress. Although, my mother slipped the other day and told him it was strapless

I don't think it's bad luck. DH looked at dresses with me online right after we got engaged and the one I wound up getting was one of the ones he saw online with me, but he never remembered which it was or what it looked like because we looked at so many. I didn't show him afterward because I wanted it to be a surprise and so did he.

I dont know about the whole bad luck thing but i didnt want him to see the dress. i want FH to be suprised when he sees me.....a tear better drop

I dont want him to see my dress until im walking down the aisle... It's one of the only things i'm being 'traditional' about.. but its totally your call I know of plenty of friends/family who had their FH shop with them

that being said I still am not having FH see me in the dress.

i went with FH every time i went dress shopping and we looked together online pretty much everyday. and when i picked the one that was out of our budget he found a way to get it for me!!
My mother keeps saying now our marriage is going to be a failure but that just adds one more person to the list
