Is it possible to have two hairstyles...

Is it possible to have two hairstyles...

...on your wedding day? I seriously CAN'T decide if I want my hair half up/half down or up in a low bun type thing. I really don't know how I'm going to decide this. Every single person who knows me says I should wear my hair down (or half and half). I rarely wear my hair down and I don't know if I'll feel comfortable. And I have this sort of casually pushed back updo in mind. AHHH I can't decide!

Here's me with my half up/half down trial. My hair is already a couple of inches longer and will be much longer by the wedding (it grows quickly). I'm not sure!!! I guess I should go for an updo trial and decide.

i think that you can where it up for the ceremony with a few pins and then take it down for the reception...or vise versa...

Maybe you can wear like you have it in the pic and have one of your BMs put it into a bun for the reception...that way it is out of your way when you are dancing and stuff??? Do you have anyone who is good with hair that could do that? Or bring one of your girls to another hair trial and have who ever is doing your hair show her how she can get it into a bun for you.

That's such a great idea. That way it's down during the ceremony - we get a lot of great photos with it down (which everyone seems to like better ) and then I can pin it up for all the action. My hair stylist and makeup person stays until after the first dance (for touch ups and stuff). I'm sure for an extra fee she can throw it up in to something casual but pretty so I could be comfortable for the rest of the night. I'm going to ask her! Great suggestion! Thank you!

I had to read your response twice to get that she was staying until your first dance...WOW...that is amazing!!! Then that should be so easy for her to just throw up and you won't have to put pressure on one of your BMs to do it for you!!!

If you don't feel comfortable wearing your hair down, then don't. Also, think of the hotness factor. Hehe. I've heard alot of brides say that with the weight of their dress, plus their hair down, combine dancing, etc.....you might get really hot.

But, your hair looks really pretty btw.

I think its a great idea. I'm acutally doing something simiar. My hair is going to be curled and pinned back in a low messy style and then the pins taken out for the reception.

Mostly, I have really long heavy hair and I know that it would be rediculous to think that it will stay up through the whole day so this was my way of making sure I wouldn't be fussing with it.
