Both my ring boy and flower girl are a month apart and both will be 1-2 months shy of their 3rd bday at my wedding... is that wayyyyyyyy too young?? I always had this vision of them walking down together but everywhere I read it says 4 is usually the youngest age!
anyone have such young ones at their wedding??
please help!

My nieces are my flower girls - they will be a little less than three and a little less than 2 at my wedding.
They are definitely young, but I'd say putting them in the wedding party depends on how much you care if they don't walk down the aisle. I'm giving each kid a 50/50 chance of actually going all the way down, maybe even less for the younger niece. But I know I won't be upset if they don't. If you want the ceremony to be 'perfect' then I wouldn't risk it.

My one RB will have just turned 2 by the time our wedding rolls around. I don't care about age limits. He's my nephew and I couldn't see having a wedding without him in it

My niece (our FG) just turned 3 and our RB will be 3 a month after the wedding. I feel that they are too young to walk down the aisle by themselves. On top of that, I have a 120 ft aisle in my church which would def be overwhelming to a child. They will walk in with someone. Kids will be kids and what happens happens so I am not overly concerned.

I think its fine. One of my flower girls will be a little over 3 when I get married and I'm sure they will be fine walking down the aisle together

My ring bearer will be 7 and one flowergirl will be 5 and the other will be 2 1/2. Yes the 2 1/2 year old is young but it is more important to me to have her (my FH's neice) in the party than not b/c she is too young. If she makes it down the aisle fantastic...if not we'll all chuckle and she'll get a few awwws!

You know them better than us. Do you they will be able to handle it?
Is there an older sibling or cousin that can go with them, just in case? Or at least sit in an aisle seat and be ready?

My ring bearers were twins and 2 1/2 at the time. I knew there was a good chance they wouldn't make it down the aisle but they were soooo adorable. One made it down really well, the other kind of hide and very slowly made it down. Either way it was precious!

I'm having my 5 nieces and nephews in the wedding. They will be ages 6-2. We are taking bets to see how many kids make it down the aisle. I know they won't all make it, and I'm ok with that. I don't think your kids are too young, you just have to be prepared for if they don't cooperate.

both of my ringbearers will be just under 3 years old and i'm having them walk down together. they'll just have to figure it out! i don't think it's too young. it's cute when they're all bashful. my flower girl will be 5 and will be walking alone behind them, but she'll push them along if need be.

I don't think it's too young .. it'll be so cute. My ring boy is only going to be 3 months shy of his 3rd birthday too.

They may not be able to independently walk down the aisle so maybe someone can walk with them down...but if they are able to walk then include them! Just be prepared that with all young kids they are unpredictable and may not 'perform' like you want them to..LOL

my ring bearers will be 6 & 8 years old. my flower girls will be 2 & 6 years olf at the time of the wedding.
i just want them there. whatever happens when they walk downt he aisle will happen. i'm not going to worry about it

my god daughter will also be 2 months shy of her 3rd bday for my wedding. She was just in a wedding for her uncle last month and walked so I take that as good practice for mine!
She was such a cutie and very special to me so I def want her weather she throws the petal or not.

my flower girls and ring bearer are 2. They may not make it all the way down but I'm ok with it. I think you should be fine as long as your okay with the fact that they may not 'want' to walk down that day. Hopefully they will though hehe

Im not into it.. every wedding i have been too where the kids are under 4-5, they have screamed and cried, thrown themselves on the floor made a scene.
