I know starting in the winter you will need a passport to get into canada (we were planning on going to Toronto over the summer and we found that out.)

Re: Is it TRUE????

we actually just got passports yesterday and you have to have a 67 dollar check or money order that gets mailed in with all your paperwork and a 30 dollar fee at the post office for doing it....so it comes to 97 total and is good for 10 years

I'm going on a cruise and a passport was required. We're going to the us virgin islands and the british virgin islands though...that might be why

Make sure that when you get a passport you arent going to need your Birth Certificate until you get the passport back....The Birth Certificate needs to be sent out to get a passport....no copies...the original one.
