yes, it's true. We sent an invitation to the president, and received a nice short congratulatory note back on Whitehouse letterhead

I totally agree with you on this.

I want to invite Barry Manilow. Yes, I know I'm gay but I love him and his music.

I sent my bat mitzvah invitation to Bill Clinton and he sent me a nice letter back. And then we sent a wedding invite to my sister's wedding for Pres Bush and he didnt send anything back! we couldn't believe it. We're going to send an invitation again to him for my wedding. You'd think they would have a staff member just send out a congratulatory note! Let's see if he does it this time! oh and i also sent a Bat mitzvah invitation to Tom Cruise at the time since i was obsessed with him when i was 13 and he sent back a congrats note!

How to invite United States President to your wedding:
The Honorable George W. Bush and Mrs. Bush
The White House
Greetings Office Rm. 39
1600 Pennsylvania Ave.
Washington, DC 20500

Wedding invitations to the President can also be faxed to:
(202) 395-1232

Invitation Tip: The White House greetings office handles as many wedding invitation requests as they can. Send your wedding invitation at least six weeks in advance. Be sure to include your old and new mailing address in case the RSVP comes later.

How to send a wedding invitation to the Queen of England:
The Secretary to Her Majesty
Queen Elizabeth II of England
Buckingham Palace
London, England
SW1A 1AA

Invitation Tip: Never send a wedding invitation to the Queen directly (only to a secretary). Non-British citizens will not receive a response.
