To get Bridal Shower invite before Wedding invite?

Not at all.... I don't think i've ever gotten a wedding invite before a shower invite when I think about it lol.

Ohhh man. That was my case. My shower invites came in like 2 weeks before my actual wedding invitations.

Everyone knew I was getting married. I was not happy about that but it was out of my hands and control.

No, I don't think so. My bridal shower is this weekend, invites went out end of April

Nope, I know my shower invites went out already but I didn't send my wedding invites yet. (Technically you're not supposed to know when the shower invites go out if its a surprise! )

my shower invites went out weeks ago and i'm not sending out my invites until beginning of july. and if i'm right about my shower date, some of my guests might not even get an invite until AFTER my shower!!!

I hope that's not bad. I'm not planning my shower... and I *think* my BMs are throwing me one more than 2 months before my wedding...

its not weird...the past few shower invites i received all came before the wedding invite and so did mine

Not at all my shower was in march the invites went out in feb. my wedding invites didnt go out after my shower

i have a similar situation we're planning on sending the wedding invites and my mom is planning to send the shower invites within a week of each and on top of that me and my sister are mailing out invites to my mom's suprise 60th bday party that week too!! i just feel like im bombarding my family but on the flip side its not like any of these events will come as a suprise to the guests they all know when im getting married, that the shower would be one of the 2 weekends between my mom doing summer school and the regular school year and the family all knows when my moms bday is. i feel like there might be people who are annoyed by it, but i also think people are polite enough not to mention it.

Hmmm i dont think its weird - My Shower is in October and I think my sis is sending them out in August - Im not sending out my Wedding invites until the beginning of Sept - i think in the past I have always gotten shower invites first!
