I signed a contract for something but have not paid for any services yet. I am kind of hesitant to follow through with the services because of a lack of response. How should I handle the situation?

I think it depends on what services you're talking about.
Regardless I might get word to them that you're withholding payment and the reasons why and see what happens. Hopefully you can get it resolved without holding any more payments or losing any $$. Good luck!

I wish I could be more help, but I honestly only see two options. 1) don't worry about it and just pay them; 2) set up a meeting and go talk to them about what's going on and at that point either pay them what you owe right now or walk away with the risk of forefitting your deposit. But no matter what you decide you have to be comfortable doing it.
