The RSVP's are returned to the people who are hosting the wedding......I can understand why you want them to come to your house though

Re: Is it wrong...
I am paying for the whole wedding myself, so there was no way those rsvp cards were going to anyone but me!
I don't know how other people handle these situations...i think the brise should receive them, but when it comes to who is paying things get sticky...

Since both sets of parent are hosting, I don't see why the RSVP's shouldn't be returned to you. It will make keeping track of everything much easier.

Both sets of parents are hosting ourreception, but the RSVPs are coming to my house (I live with my parents) because it's easier for me to manage the replies.
I honestly think they should go to whoever is keeping track of the RSVPS...otherwise you need to collect bulks of RSVPs each time you go to your parents' homes. I think that is a stress that you don't need.

Re: Is it wrong...
even though mom and step dad are hosting, i think ill still have them come to me bc they live in OH and shes just going to have to keep sending them in the mail to me when she gets them. It would be easier to keep track of if they come to me.

Re: Is it wrong...
Ugh, I had the same problem when I got my invites printed. My mom freaked when I told her that the RSVP's were going to come to my apartment. I tried to explain that it is only rational that I receive them but she kept hollering about tradition. I finally caved just to keep the peace. But I agree with you, it makes sense for the RSVP's to come to the brides home. Hopefully your parents aren't as insane as mine! Good luck!

Re: Is it wrong...
i think its actually the best solution so you dont hurt either set of parents' feelings. If they are sent to one set of parents, the other may think they are the 'true host' which isnt the case.
I am kind of glad we had them sent to my parents though, cause now I can call my mom every hour to see if the mail came to her house yet so she can read them to me. Otherwise they'd be sitting in our mailbox and I wouldnt know who RSVP'd until we got home at lke 8 at night, and I coudlnt deal with that.

I second that. We are paying for everything and the RSVPs are coming to moi....not ma or ma in law to be but moi...
Even if they werent I would still want to get them so that I know who is or isnt coming

Just for the sake of avoiding confusion the RSVP should go to you :) since both parents are paying, you are the neutral party (not to mention one of the 2 key player's THE BRIDE!)
I agree with you, they should come to you

Re: Is it wrong...
My parents are paying and so I am. They really dont care about where they come. My parents are so busy they won't be able to keep count anyway. They just want to know how much cash I need.

Re: Is it wrong...
You should have them come to you- its your day- so you should get to check out who is coming.....
