I went there today, and I saw some nice pieces.

I bought a desk there, and so far, it has survived 2 moves. Its not the highest quality, and we had to put it together ourselves, but its pretty good. What pieces were you looking at?

I sure hope so, I just bought an armoire. hehe. Its not as nice as my all wood furniture, but for the price I think its great.

Thanks Ladies. We will be living in FIL's basement for 2 years and I don't want to spend alot of money on the furniture especially since it won't be our own place.

When we moved from Boston to NY the movers told us they hated the particle board (assemble yourself) type of furniture because it doesn't hold up well - the moving puts a lot of stress on it.

It make sense - particle board is heavy, and it's hard to grip the furniture anywhere without putting stress on one of the joined areas where the screws & pegs attached the various pieces.

My Sauder computer desk did make the move OK, as did my husbands, and his had made the move from NY to Boston and back again.

these are from target and the brand is Country Lane by Renovations (which the box says is a division of Thomasville)....I dont own any of this, I just noticed they were nice bookcases last time I was in there so I really cant speak firsthand of the quality but they were very nice looking bookcases:

PLUS they have 3-4and5 shelf sizes so you can mix/match them! I may go take another look for my office!!
