Is The First Weekend in October to cold to have a party outside?????

Fh and I weren't going to have an engagement party, but some of our family keep asking when we are having one, so they can give us an engagement gift....


It's not easy to get weekends off with my job, and
I don't have weekends off until October 1 (Sat) and with the Us Open in Sept, and the West Indies Parade the second week in Sept, I won't be able to get off....

Now, it's only going to be family, and the Bridal Party and I was going to have it at my mom & dad's house, but now they want it earlier in Sept b/c they don't want everyone in the house

I'm going crazy right now, b/c I didn't want an engagement party, and they did.. So I finally make plans to have one, and now they are complaining....

Do you think It will be to cold The first Saturday in October to have an outside party????? Please help.....

It really depends...it can go either way.

ETA: You can rent heaters if it is a little chilly.

It's hit or miss for the weather. Remember last Halloween...I think it was like 70 degrees. good luck

Well we are having out ceremony outside (wedding Oct 2) weather pemitting. I think the beginning of October is perfect. Not too hot and not too cold.
