I know I want purple, but what if my girls try on purple & I hate it. I'm thinking I should wait before I do anything else to be sure I have the right theme/color going. Correct?

I'm doing it this way... dresses take more time to come in, flower orders don't have to be finalized till right before so I can change my mind as much as I want. I'm doing 1 - dresses 2 - invitations 3 - flowers 4 - favors
I did the above order too. Every florist I went to wanted a swatch of the BM's dresses.
Most florists will give you a consultation and quote and then just before the wedding you meet again to pick specific flowers and see samples. I don't think you need the BM dresses and swatch until later on.

I guess there is no definite answer! sounds like half did one thing & the other half did another.

I picked my girls dresses then I did flowers.
me too!!! there are SO MANY flower options and I want the dresses to look great on the girls. I'm using their color to dictate everything else.
