To go for a makeup trial tomorrow morning and then have my first dress fitting right after? You think the makeup might smudge on the dress?

Actually, it might be a good idea! I mean, on the day of the wedding, your makeup will be done before you get into your dress, so this will be like a full dress rehearsal

i myself wouldnt do it considering im kind of clumsy and would probably get it on my dress. Hey if your not clumsy like me, go for it.

I think it would be okay - just be extra careful. It'll be cool to see how your make up looks with the dress
As long as you are super careful I am sure it will be fine...however when I went for my first dress fitting they had me wipe off any make up that was on my face (not my eyes) before they put the dress on me.
ETA- Have fun at both the trial and the fitting!

you will be fine as long as you dont have them throw the dress over your head, step into it instead, then all should be perfect.......

I dont think it's a bad idea...just be SUPER carefull putting your dress on so you dont get any on the dress. Might be nice to see how 'the whole package' looks together though ya know??

If you have to put your dress over your head... then be careful but if you step into your dress like my dress then i don't think it will be a big deal..

like everyone else is saying, it be really awesome to see how you look with it, just be really careful! at least if you get makeup on the dress now there will be time to get it cleaned, rather then the day of, it gives you good pratice to get into the dress for the day of.. post pics when you get back!!

i would do it bc they clean the dress anyways so u'll just practice how it will be done day of and see how it looks together!

i did it and had NO problem so i say do it. i did step into my dress. really i dont think i even thought about the fact that i might get something on it.

I don't think it's such a bad idea--just be super careful. Make sure they help you into the dress--you'll probably step into it anyway, right?
