I was planning on getting my girls something from Tiffany for like $150-$200, but I can't decide on anything.... now I'm thinking about getting each of them a coach wristlet and putting a little card inside that says, 'Thanks for everything! Your hair and makeup is paid for!'

What do you girls think?

i like the idea of getting them something from tiffany, it will be something they'll always get to have and love lol

I have a lot of guilt b/c they're insistant on having my shower (a surprise) out at a place and I know its going to cost them $$ so I figure that I could at least help them out w/paying for the hair/makeup, which they THINK they're paying for... it would be nice surprise 2 days before the wedding... but I'll think on it. Do you have enough money to buy them each a wristlet, pay for their hair or makeup *or maybe half for each* and buy them maybe earrings and/or a necklace for the day of???? That would be great then! Maybe put half the amount of money in the wristlet for their hair makeup with a little note and then give them the DOJ too???

I'd want my hair and makeup paid for....ive been in quite a few weddings and after seeing what MY girls are spending for this....i know they'll be tapped out by that day. Had i thought of this earlier, this is what I would've done. Too late though.....jewelry it is!

i feel guily too - i hate that they are going to have to pay for hair and make up and if i was a bridesmaid i would kiss the brides feet if i didnt have to pay to get my hair and make up done for their wedding - thats A LOT of money i'd be saving

i dont want to get them day of jewelry b/c they all have their own things and they may not want to wear what i buy - im already forcing them to wear a dress i dont want to force jewelry on them too and then call it a 'gift' when they might not like it and probably wont wear it again anyway....

i was figuring a small gift like a coach wristlet, pay for hair and make up and maybe something little and personal for each of them....i wish i could spoil them! FH and I both want to be able to pay for hair and make up for them - its our sisters and my BF - so we both love them

i'm using jenn and oksana and i know two girls are doing hair and make-up and one is just doing hair. I bought them losts of stuff (a bridesmaid/MOH bag, earrings*25$*, pedicuare set, ELF maek-up, personalized make-up bag, and i'm giving them each $50 towards hair and make-up. They still have to shell out $130, but i figure $50 is better than nothing.

I agree...I received jewelry for being in BPs and its just sitting in my jewelry box. I havent even looked at them since. But I do remember the amount of money I spent on everything for that day i'd love for someone to have paid for the hair and makeup. Thats a huge chunk of money they can save.
I thought about doing it for my girls but theres too many of them and it would cost me a fortune. So i'm getting them jewelry but pratical jewelry that I know they can wear everyday if they wanted to. I can get a nice deal b/c i have to buy so many. I wish I could do their day of service

Since you put it that way - I changed my mind. Yes, that's a great idea.... Plenty of girls are just getting wristlets for their girls and not something else as well. I think it's a fine idea.

I like the idea and it is something I am considering. All of my girls are having their hair and make-up done with me and they all think they are paying for it because they want to not because they have to.

I have a ton of jewlery from other weddings I was in that I will never wear again so that being said I would have loved for someone to take one expense away from instead of paying for something that sits in a drawer.

For me personally I am going to try and get them a little make bag of some kind, pay for their hair and make-up and possibly get them cheappy earrings (for those who wear them) and bracelet for the day of.

Can I give my girls a picture of your hiney too -- I think they would love it!

I think it's a good combo, doing the wristlet so they have the keepsake and then getting the hair and make up done. I am sure they would all want to get it done anyways. I mean lets say everyone was getting their makeup done and I couldn't afford it I would totally want it if everyone else was. I mean I would want to insure I would be the hottest bm, lol. I've seen bp gifts as just the coach wristlet so I think anything else on top of that would be awesome.

Thats a nice idea too... or maybe a gift cert for all of them to a restaurant so we can have a girls night when I come back from my mini-moon? I have to think about it... I only have 3BM and a JBM, so Its not TONS of money - its not like I have 10 girls to pay for, so I feel for you girls with large BP.

the one in my BP ( my MOH) who doesn't want that type of gift has a person she goes to that is a family friend and she doesn't pay and she said not to waste my money when she can get it for free. I might get her a coach bag , she loves them .
