saying, 'paybacks a B****'

FH said that to some girl he worked with last Sunday because she just hung around doing nothing and then the manager told her to leave in 15 minutes, and she did not clean up her station (FH IS A COOK) He made that comment, and she turned around and told the manager that HATES HATES FH, and that Manager suspended him, and then made him write a 'report' about what happened', the head manager said he will review the video (becasue I guess they are taped) and they strung FH along for 1 week withouth pay, and then FH called them, and they made him come in Sat afternoon for a meeting,a nd were going on about how they were thinking ofm letting him go because he threatened her....according to 'the Corporation handbook' which employees do not get, just managers do...FH cut them off,a nd said he QUIT..he had enough crap, they walk all over him, and he does EVERYTHING for them...worked Christmas Eve, New years Eve, Easter, The day before and after Thanksgiving...etc..etc...and he always stays till close when he should be out hours before that, becae they needed someone to for the most part work the SH** hours...he did it all....he is a very mild mannerd guy, and I do not think this is a threat a all..if he went up to her and said 'You are a B***' or 'wait till I pay you back, B****', than I can see them saying he threatened her....but this is just @ssanine...CRAP....I am making my outline for the letter I am sending to the corporate office and the local officem they need to know what is actually goig on in tbhere, and in fact, FH has been threatened, told 'If you do not clsoe tonight, wait until you get your next schedule' Also, 'your availability ****s', and 'if you take that weekend off for the wedding you are going to, you will probably have no hours scheduled for the week following' (when we went to a wedding in oct)

Sorry for so long, but it just mreally, really really irritates me...

I am glad he quit- that does not sound like a nice place to work

this is a tough one...

if you look at just the words...yes I think it can be construed as a threat...(and if the manager doesn't like him...they can use it)

but I think it has become part of our vernacular...that it is more just a saying...that I', sure he didn't mean he was really going to 'pay' her back

So sorry for your FH!!!! That is THE WORST feeling!!!! Hopefully he can go find a job where they appreciate him!
