Is this an appropriate first dance song?

FH and I love Oasis and want our first dance to be to their song 'Wonderwall'. We've gotten some looks over that. It's something that we want and will dance to it anyway, but I'm wondering if we are really that far out there with our song pick.

Wonderwall is one of my favourite songs. If you wan't it as your first song then go for it! Don't listen to what others say! Its your day after all!

I think its a great song. Its good to have something different than generic wedding songs, especially if the song you choose is more 'you'.

Why not? If you guys like it thats all that matters. My friend had 'Far Away' (think its Nickelback?) It was untraditional but it fit them and it was perfect!!!

I think it's nice when the couple chooses a song outside of the typical wedding songs.. if it suits your style, go for it! FH and I are probably going to choose something a little bit different too
