This is probably the best idea I have heard today. I am SO worried they are going to leave someone out!!

This could be alot of work. I would think that providing the photographer with the list is good. I mean he can easily ask you or anyone else who 'Aunt Millie' (or whatever) is. I would rather my photog. ask me than be thumbing through a book trying to figure it out.

I think it is a good idea - but will your photographer actually 'study' it? I think you have a better bet at assigning one of your brides maids to keep checking with the photographer to make sure they got everyone. Maybe make a list and give it to a bm who knows the 'important people' you want pictures of and have her check with photographer throughout the wedding.

I think it's a good idea. Pics are so important...it's all you have left after all is said and done...I would do the same thing! I was thinking of inviting my photographer to the rehearsal dinner so she knows everyone. I heard people do that...but that might be too much

ehh no need. its not like the photog is going to reffer to that list. soo much is going on.. and the photog wont be like 'oh aunt susan come here . let me take a pic of u alone' lol.. family will have their pix taken when u and ur fh are present. so theres no need for any of that. trust mee

I don't really think it is a bad idea...esp if your Photog has an Assist. Hand them the pics and the must take photos...and your odds of getting everyone you want go up. My BF's photog... a good, had an Asst that kept calling her parents by the wrong name...assuming they were the Grooms parents. Needless to say, no pics of the Bride's parents alone or Bride's Grandma. I say cover your bases.

My photographer said to ask someone to help pull family members. For example, give the photographer and this designated person your must take list and have them help you. I am having my 2 MOH take care of this and maybe one of FH sisters

I'm going to tell my immediate family where to be for posed family portraits and when to be there.

I'll let my mom handle telling the photog about any candids.
