Is this illness going around?? Anyone else?

I feel so horrible, I can barely talk... Sore throat, aches, congestion, exhaustion, stuffed nose... I had to take off from work today. Hope I'll be fine by tomorrow.

I was feeling like junk all day today also - I thought it might just be that I needed more sleep...
but I have a stuffed head, sore throat, tiredness, slight chills on and off....and i was sooo lethargic!

i hope it's nothing because i hate being sick

I had this last week. I had to take a whole week off from work, that is how bad I was!! Feel Better!!

I have it. (Got it from people @ work). There's definetly something going around. I'm taking Zicam & it seems to be almost gone. That stuff is the BEST!!!

I had this 2 weeks ago up here in Maine. I was miserable for days. Sore throat, achy, fever. It never affected my nose though. Feel better!!!!

My DH is still getting over it (it's now day 5) and my brother had it a week or two ago - it's definitely going around! Get as much rest as possible, drink clear liquids, have non creamy soups, and take your vitamins. If it doesn't seem to be getting better, maybe make a trip to your doctor.

Yes I was home last week myself from work I was so tired, sorethroat, and a slight temperature. and my job only paid me for 1 day

. I hope you feel better drink lots of tea with honey.or someone showed me at work hot water with honey and lemon juice it works. also rubitussin dm.

I just had a cold last week, very achy, headache, congestion, fatigue. Lots of fluids and rest and I was better in 4 days.

I had it last week, mild fever, aches, tired and chills and I felt crappy. i rested, slept, drank a lot of fluids and tea. My nose is still a little stuffy, and I am still tired and on Robitussin DM and vitamin C and zinc. get better soon!

Yup.....got it now. Started with a sore throat, then turned into congestion, sinus headache, lethargy, dizzyness (due to clogged sinus), and cough. Got a Z-pack (zithromax) and hopefully I will kick it in the next day or two. But, called in sick to work on Saturday and I'm calling in again for today and probably the rest of the week. Not going to class today either.....can't talk very well. Feel better---

PS> I'm in Rockland County (not LI)....so it's REALLY made it's way around!!!!!

I started to feel sick at the beginning of last week and I took zinc once a day and Echincea 3 times a day and I am feeling better now.

Thanks so much. I was home from work two days now. So exhausted. I walk to the bathroom and back and am winded. This HAS to go away!

Im avoiding EVERYONE, washing my hands NEVER rubbing my face, eyes or nose with anything but a new clean tissue then tossing it. taking EXTRA precautions!

I've had this for a MONTH! A few nights my fever went up to 103 and the docs thought I had mono bc antibiotics weren't even helping, but I seem to be getting better. Lethargy is not going away though.

My throat is starting to swell where I can not swallow. I keep gagging on my own saliva. This chill will not go away but no fever. I made an appointment two weeks ago to go to the doctor. It takes awhile to get an apointment now I cannt wait cause I feel crappy
