Is this Must Take Photo List way too long?

Should I cut it down or is it a good idea to be this specific?

I was gonna use what Duet has....but theirs is fairly long and they give you room to add more....

Be honest missy- is it really too much? It's so hard to know! I tried to base it off of what they have on their site...but I liked Eliana's list more. I thought it made more sense to follow.

It looks fine! You want to make sure they get these photos. Being very very specific is good in a situation like this

I wonder if being TOO specific might be too much ya know? These guys are professionals- shouldn't most of these be obvious? I don't know if I want them sitting there looking at a list all day and not being creative and in the moment!

mmmm..you got a point. Maybe you should talk to your photog and let him know your concerns about creating a list?

From my perspective, I think you're being too specific.... you should keep the list at about 10 (not too obvious) pics, and let the photographer capture the moments as they happen... otherwise the pics may all look a bit contrived... and they'll miss a lot of memorable moments becuase they're worrying about your list...

our list was about 3 pics (getting into car, photographer in back of us as we walk out of church, the bubble pic). The rest, we'll leave to their judgement....


I should add that your photographer will likely take almost 1000 pics, and a good portion of your list is pretty obvious, and doesn't have to be mentioned....

Strange thing is, the must take photo list on the Duet website has tons of obvious ones on there! Who friggin' knows.

Maybe to long..................I know you want pictures that are specific, but maybe just the must must haves they migt not think of. I guess some are obvious and would freak me out and make me run for the hills if I saw this list. Plus you want some spont pics also. When my sister got married some of her absolute fav's were the ones she did not have on her must have list. If you have some you would be devastated not to have taken write those down, but let them do there thing. That's what you're paying them for and they have done tons of weddings before so I wouldn't worry. Plus you guys will be with them for almost all the photos so if they are missing some photo ops than ask them to snap a pic of what you want. Just my 2 cents

He was so annoyed, I had to laugh-in my mind I'm thinking it HAD to be an LIW Bride!!

I agree. They do this all the time so they know what pics they need to get. They know to get so and so walking down the aisle and so and so entering the reception. Stick to the pics you don't see too often that you really want, like the bride looking out the limo window. Also make sure they know who is important to have pics with. I'd be devastated if my photog didn't get a pic of me with my grandmother.
