The hotel that our guests are going to be staying at is less than a 5 minute drive from our RH (ceremony at the same place) Is it necessary to provide shuttle buses for them? It seems like a big waste to me to spend $1,000 for that.

how are they getting to the hotel? driving?? if so..then dont waste your money. if you are doing OOT boxes.. include a few local cab companies.. cal n find out how much they charge.. and include that in your boxes

i dont tink you shld spend the extra money! 1000 is a lot for a 5minute drive

our hotel is just as close and we are providing a shuttle. i do not want ppl drinking and driving as much as possible.

honestly, since most of your guests will be coming from OOT, i would think a shuttle would be nice. remember - they are already spending money to attend, stay at hotel, give gift, etc.
but i think 1k is ridic...you should def call around for better prices!! maybe you can just work with the local car service/taxi company to get a few vans
it doesnt need to be luxurious or perfect....it just needs to do the 5 minute drive

I had priced some out for ours that were at least $1k... I hope you can find less... i agree its a nice gesture for OOTers. We ended up going with a hotel that includes shuttle service for guests. :)

i got shuttles for 300...call uslimo, or even a cab company. they have 14 pass. vans

Ours is pretty close and we're providing a shuttle... we thought about the drinking factor... I would feel better knowing that they have the option to not drive.
