An 09 bride did this! I'll have to find her review and post it for you. Gimme a minute! I think it's a great idea for a surprise if FH loves the Mets.

Ok, so it's 09 bride JJC who did Mr.Met. I just read her review and for some reason she doesn't mention it, but I've seen her pics and I know it's her. If you want to, do a search of her name and FM her! Good luck!!

I like the idea...but I wouldnt spend that amount of money. I think that for $500- you could spend it better somewhere else...JMO

I think its great, but not at a wedding. When's his bday? Or maybe at the Rehearsal Dinner...?

08er crashing...
As a been there, done that - definitely do it. It obviously suits your personalities and your FH fell in love with it in pics? No brainer. It will definitely be memorable and it won't take away from you guys.... You guys are hosting a some-odd thousand dollar party to celebrate your LOVE. Nothing can take away from that.
Two weddings that I've been to recently - one had a belly dancer, another had an Elvis impersonator - they made the wedding that much more special b/c they meant something to the bride and groom....
As an aside - our DJ was Tommy Tunes and they were phenomenal!!!!!
