a friend of mine recently got engaged. she is looking at RHs and Churches.

She has been told by several churches that they do not do weddings the entire 40 days of lent. is this correct? i believe lent starts this year on Feb 6

I know of people who have gotten married during lent my but I also know my parents and their crew said no one used to be able to get married during lent. maybe your parish is just a little stricter. I think they have some leeway with how they run their parish. Same reason as why the 'donation' to get married is different all over
