FH and I have guests scattered around the country and many will not know where we are registered. (We can't guarantee that word of mouth would spread the news their way and many of these guests aren't being invited to a shower because of their distance, so they won't learn via a shower invite).
Would it be tacky to list our two registeries on our wedding website? All of our guests already have this website address. Has anyone done this?

I think it's fine. We have a tab on our website that links to our registries. Also, what I've seen people do is on their 'accomodations' enclosure, they'll list the hotel, the group rate, etc. and then say 'for other information please visit www.us.com' and that 'other info' will have their registry info. Hope this helps!

Etiquette states, other than word of mouth, your website is the best way to spread the word. Better yet, post a link to make it easier for guests!

I also think that most people who are checking out wedding websites are also comfortable shopping online and would be gald to get your registry info from there. In fact, I didn't have a shower and didn't give registry info for the engagement party, so I think the website is how most people did find the registry.
