I think my BP would have been miserable in white. But to each their own.

They used to be called 'snowball' weddings. I think they are beautiful but since I'm in Ivory, its not for me.

I heard of it too called 'snowball'' weddings. Personally don't care for it, but I've seen pix and they do look nice. I just wanted to be the BRIDE with no one else in white/ivory (except for my mom who bought an ivory dress )

It's called a 'snowball' wedding and I think it looks beautiful - Someone I worked with back in college had one and it was so classy and diffrent...they all looked stunning standing in front of the church in white..good for her for stepping outside of the 'norm'

I agree

i'm all for breaking traditions - but white does not look good on everybody. me, i look horrible in white, so i'd be annoyed if i was in a wedding where the bride wanted all white. nice idea, but just another side of it

I was in my cousin's wedding, and we all wore white. The bride, the groom, BM's, MOB, MOG, and Grandmother's. It was not something that I would pick, but it is what she wanted. She got married the Saturday after Thanksgiving (same thing FH & I are doing), and she wanted to have a 'snowball wedding'. The only thing with us wearing white was I felt that her pictures did not really pop out. Everyone was in white (except for the GM who wore black tux's), with white flowers. But she loved it, so it was worth it just for that.
