my hall holds two weddings a night and staggers them by an hour and a half. so my coctail hour doesnt start until 8:30 and everything doesnt end until 1:30am. Is this too late? my church is at 5pm and its a friday night. do you think people will leave early?

I'm having the same exact thing, and various people keep telling me how much they plan on partying.

I dont think its too late at all. Its friday night...Im sure there will be people that will leave early, but would leave early regardless of when it ended, but I am sure that there will be people that WILL not leave until the party is over
