Is this weird?

I invited all of my co-workers with a guest. One coworker responded yes, so I asked her today if she'd prefer I write 'Miss Mima Cat & Guest' on the place card or if she would like me to write out the name of her guest. Turns out, her guest is another girl we work with who I did not invite to the wedding! Its not that I dont like the girl, its just t hat I dont really know her very well and don't talk to her much. I'm not going to say anything, b/c I did invite her with guest... but I meant a male date, not a random other uninvited coworker. Am I crazy?

It is what it is - I think its more common than you probably think. . . .I don't think there really is anything you can say

maybe thats her sugarmama till he gets home, or maybe she thinks if its wioth a girl its not cheating

but anyway it is strange

you are not crazy or weird!!! Most ppl know guest implies a date.. but sometimes ppl don't care and just bring whoever they want!!!

weird... but was a serious fear of mine. one of my good friends is also friends with a girl i cant stand, who has treated me like poop since HS. this winter she tried to get herself invited (not bc she cares about me in the slightest, but because most of her other friends were going) and it didnt happen.

i was really afraid if i invited my friend +1 she'd bring awful girl. i didnt invite totally single people +1 since the majority of our friends were single and everyone had a great time mingling... it would be been messy had i invited her with a date and she brought that girl. given our past i probably could have said no, but it would have been majorly awkward

as long as you dont have a beef with the coworker she's bringing just go with it?

I have a similar situation. my friend is single and always brings this other friend of hers (outside our circle of friends) to every wedding, or where she needs a date.
it is weird.

I dont understand why the other girl would even wanna come knowing you didnt invite her. Thats the weirdest part of it all.

sounds rude and sneaky to me. If I was not invited to that coworkers wedding and another told me to come with her then I wouldn't go.

I know money isn't everything, but since it's rude I hope she gives you a decent envelope at the very least

thats weird that she would want to come. Maybe the chick u invited is friendly w/ her and figured she would just invite another work person rather than an outside person (since hubby cant go lol)
