i've definitely heard of this being done before.
I kinda want my dad to come when i finalize my decision.

yeah- sometimes if the dresses dont close n the back and you come out of the room with everything hanging out. I was a little uncomfortable at David's bridal when a girl's father was sitting there while she was lookin gat prom dresses w/ her mom. IDK...JMO

He can always stand away from the dressing rooms and you can go out to him. that would work

its really not a problem, my dad waited with everyone else, it was this lounge area with couches. The dressing room was real big and the saleslady was in there with me, she zipped me, pinned me and all that before i came out of the room, she didn't do any of that in front of everyone

my father came with me and my mom
i wanted him there
i am not marrying him!! LOL

I was more thinking of the other brides like she mentioned. I know that not all of the dresses zipped up on me (or so some other girls at the shop) b/c I am a heffer. Other girls may feel strange, or even he might. IDK. The only time I saw a Dad there was at Davids.

You only don't hang out of the dress if the samples fit you

I don't know how it is at alot of stores bc i only went to one. By us there really weren't alot of ppl. There were two other girls on the main floor but they were a bit further and one of them came with a guy. There were more girls but on the other side of the wall so we couldn't see them. The dressing rooms were also big so its not like i got dressed and then came out for her to fix me, it was all done before i came out.

i did have a sample not fit, and before i went out to show everybody i told her to make sure nothing is showing and she understood since my dad was there

but its up to you

i went to several places where my father came Bridal Suite in centerreach made him wait out in a different area and i had to walk over to show him

other places were pretty empty and he waited on the couch like everyone else
