I've finally narrowed down the dress search to a few styles, and I'm going back this weekend to look at them again, but my dad wants to come and see them. Is it normal for the FOB to go to a dress salon with me and my mom?

i went to several places where my father came Bridal Suite in centerreach made him wait out in a different area and i had to walk over to show him

other places were pretty empty and he waited on the couch like everyone else

exactly, there was another area further away he could've waited but there werent many ppl by us so it was ok.

Trust me any girls in a bridal shop trying on dresses, the last thing they're concerned about is your dad being there...i barely noticed the 2 girls by me and it was after someone had said something about one of their dresses

hah- dont mind me- it seems to be the norm for Dad's to go. I wouldn't worry either then. Like I said I had only seen 1 guy there at one place so IDK. Come to think of it, there werent many people there when I went to the little places so it should be fine.

its not weird at all, i was going to bring my dad but he wants to be surprised the day of the wedding.

we have yet to see if thats the truth when i get one!!!

I dont think its weird. I would want my dad to come for one of the fittings. I mean its the whole thing about daddy's little girl on the wedding day so i think its fine.

i dont know if its normal or not but who cares.. i think that is so sweet!!!
