So, we get home from a nice lunch....good food, no arguments...and I get a letter from the NY State Dept of Taxation that I neglected to pay my taxes. So I ask FH if he mailed the check, he swears up and down he mailed it. So, he goes online and then he calls the bank...the whole time telling me he mailed it. Do you think he mailed it?? No, it is still in his briefcase! So somehow it turns into my fault. As always. Are our FH's really this hopeless that they can't mail a letter??? What happens when we have kids, is he going to forget to feed them or leave them at Roosevelt Field???!! Oy, till death do us a part and eternity is a long time to deal with this!! (they don't have a 'beat groom with a broomstick* so 'groom' will have to do!)

It's not like we ask much...now he thinks I hate him and don't love him. Pfft...I am worse when I have PMS, this is nothing. He asked me to pick up coffee this morning, so I went to my fav Dunkin Donuts..he says 'this is not starbuck's'. Well, duh, Dunkin has a drive-thru and it was pouring rain. Or, 'can you go to the store and pick up dinner?'. Fine..then he wants to know why its not cooked! No one told me to cook it, I thought that's what he is for. But, forgetting to mail my taxes!!! Does he want me to spend time in a blue suit in Hempstead b4 I am shipped Upstate??? I mean, it is not even a nice blue!!!

I think it is the testosterone that makes them do things like this. My fiance' hasn't forgotten to mail my taxes (yet!), but he does things like this too.
Yesterday, I decided it should be legal to kill someone for throwing garbage in a garbage pail, noticing there isn't a bag in the pail and walking away. 'Why isn't there a bag in here?'
'Because I took out the garbage on my way to work this morning, along with the pails you were too lazy to take out the night before.'
80 years, huh? Not to be crass, but I'm 29 and FI is 32 - I won't have to deal with this for 80 years. Maybe 50 or 60...
(Message edited because he came in to say hello, while I was typing this message, saw what I originally wrote and got insulted, so I softened my response.)

I always say....if you want something done, you gotta do it yourself!
Last night I asked FH to clean the counter because the leftovers from the restaurant leaked through the bag. He cleans it but he didnt put the windex away after - so annoying!!!

Men are forgetful it's their nature, mine is the opposite anal like a clam, he remembers everything and picks on me that way, gives him a feeling of power, little does he know I set him up for the kill like that!

Awwww, I would have loved to see his reaction when it was found in his briefcase!!!! My fiance would have made a joke out of it. We would have looked at eachother and died laughing. I would not have been mad at him though....(I never can...I am a punk!) I would have teased him to no end but all in fun.
Gotta love them no matter how forgetful they are!!!
I agree with HBradio though....we gotta do it all ourselves!!!!!!!
