Re: Is your mother getting on your nerves?
omg I hear ya! My mom is the total opposite though. she is jsut getting WAYY too involved, and trying to take control over everything. I figured she would stop once I gave her the e-party responsibility to plan - nope - shes still going! lol

No, i know my mother is happy for me.. I guess im very sensitive to some of the things she would say.. some days she is very depressed that im longer going to be home with the family.. i think Veronica is right - its very hard to adjust during this time when you are always use to having your children home

Re: Is your mother getting on your nerves?
my mom totally stays out of it. i think she's been there, done that after my brother and sister's weddings... but she really never bugged them either. i'm very grateful for it. mother in law is a different story, unfortunately.. sigh.

My mom wanted FH and I to get married ASAP since she didn't want us living together for so long but she didn't get her way. Now whenever I mention planning she always says 'Well, you have SO much time.'
So passive aggressive!!

Re: Is your mother getting on your nerves?
My mom is just okay. We have a weird relationship, she's usually more concered about my teenage sister. Sometimes she'll get interested and want to look at things but she doesn't give her opinion unless I ask. I think she knows better lol.
FMIL on the other hand...yeah I can't even begin to get into that!
