I am not too big on surprises. Is everyone's shower gonig to be a surprise? What is your opinion on this? I am gonig to be having two as my fiance's family is from out of town so I will know about the out of town one. thanks

Yes, my mom, sister (MOH) and his daughter(10yo) are going to give it. His daughter always goes to Fl for the month of July so I know its going to be either Aug or Sep and this is killiing me because I am such a control freak.

I'm hoping mine will be, but my MOH (my sister) and I have a hard time keeping secrets from each othr. We always wind up telling each other hwat our holida yand b-day presents are. lol!

My mom threw mine in TX, so I knew about that one. As for the one here, I am uncertain if my FMIL is going to have one for me...only because I have less than 3 weeks and she didn't ask me for my list. That is because she mentioned she was going to have one for me. We will see!! Hopefully, I am wrong.

I wanted to be surprised but my mom needed help and she spilled the beans as well even though she tried to hide it for me.

It's supposed to be, but for all sorts of reasons I know it's coming soon, just don't know when exactly or where..... Someone on here (forgot who) said that even though they knew about their shower, it was still a shock walking into a room full of people who are there for you....I have a feeling that will be the case!

That sounds great Theresa. We are thinking of a jack and jill shower too. In all honesty, the gifts are for the both of us. And I know that my fiance would totally love opening gifts!!!

Mine was not a surprise - I greeted all my guests. I liked being there and chatting with everyone as they showed up.
I'm not big on surprises so this was perfect.
