I am not too big on surprises. Is everyone's shower gonig to be a surprise? What is your opinion on this? I am gonig to be having two as my fiance's family is from out of town so I will know about the out of town one. thanks

It's this coming Sunday...no suprises here. I dislike suprises...unless I don't have any clue ...anyway, I don't even like showers....we'll see how I do with mine lol

I'm hoping mine will be. Half of my BM's are from out of state, and they've already said that they want to be there for it, so I don't know how it'll work. Also, I guess the people in the Mid West don't do the surprise thing for showers. They all thought I was nuts when they were asking and I said that usually the bride doesn't have much to do with it because its a surprise. I'm definitely hoping it will be a surprise though!

I know I am having one, but that is it. And I like it that way!! After all the stress of planning and stuff, a little surprise and fun will be good.

it was suppposed to be, but as some of you might have read there have been some issues, so I kind of know everything unfortunately....unless they change it.

My daughter wants hers to be a suprise. What she has done already is she gave her MOH and myself her wedding list of names/addresses, emails for the BP, and any other information that we would need to do her shower. I made her a sign in book for her E-party and that is included so we can have a sign in at the shower in the same book.
Her theory is: if she is asked for information she will have a heads up on her surprise, this was we have everthing and the shower won't be ruined by questions.
I live in Upstate NY and do make frequent trips to LI so with me being there won't through her off.
I can remember (31 years ago) mine was a total surprise. We went for a ride to the beach, I was in cut offs and t-shirt and when we 'stopped in' SURPRISE! I was so not dressed for the shower but now with my daugthers exciting events coming up, its fun looking back seeing just how much work went into my shower to be a surprise.

Mine's not. Not only is it not a surprise, but I've had to call and make all the arragements for it! My MOH is out of town and my mom thought I should help her. NOT FUN!
But I am still looking forward to it!

Mine was supposed to be! The thing that ruined it was, I live with my mother and all the places that she has been pricing are calling the house and leaving messages about prices for April 24th. I hope she changes the date and I don't know!

I really want mine to be a surprise. It will be planned as a surprise, we'll see if I figure it out. I'm pretty good at these type of things so it will be really hard to get me

I have no idea about a shower? It would be a small one, only like 30 women.
I work so much with my Part time job that they would I think have to tell me something to take off work. And be dressed (not casually scrubbed)
