he has his student loans and I have mine. but he has his side of the bed and if I even lay my foot on his side of the bed when he is sleeping he turns into a 5 yr old.

For the most part, we share everything. We have joint accounts and separate accounts - when we shop for ourselves, we pay for it ourselves, but at the same time, if I need something, he gives it to me and vice versa.

We live together and from day one everything was ours. The only thing that is 'his' is his computer. He does computer 'stuff' for a living and he thinks I'll break it, so I have my own : ).

We have joint accounts for both savings and checking and I use his Jeep more than he does

We consider everything we have 'both of ours' even though he's paid for everything.

We share everything. Especially now that i'm on disability and not making as much I need money for the week so he gives to me---I hate it though, I like making my own cash

We both have our own savings & checking accounts...as well as a joint account. His car is his, my car is mine...they are both ours - if that makse any sense. We share bills (have been living together for 4 years) and what has been purchased together over that time, is ours. So yes, what's his is mine and what's mine is mine. Whoops...I mean his!

Everything he has is mine cause I don't work. I think a woman should ALWAYS have some extra money tucked away 'just incase'

We both work and we both make a decent days pay. So we have our own bank accounts. However, he pays for everything.... My savings is going towards our next, bigger, better home. Plus I will be a SAHM when we have children, so my money is being saved for that time.
I take care of my school loans and pay off any debt I have. I also lease my own car (through his dealership), but I consider it ours. DH does not have a car to call his own because he drives dealer demos.
My hubby is the most incredible person when is comes to providing for me, even if I am more than perfectly capable of doing so myself.

Everything is ours.
Spending is not a problem.
He has guns and golf stuff, and I have make up and pocketbooks.
Works out just fine

Jodi, I agree about the 'just in case' thing. I take MUCH comfort in knowing that IF something were to happen between us, I am 100% self supportive. Being that our life is pretty happy at the moment, I don't mind letting him and his much larger income fund my expensive habits. I just bought $170 maternity jeans just because I wanted 'em.

We still have separate accounts...that will be until we get married- then we will have one! However we share all our money...I am lucky to say he pays for pretty much everything!

And so thats why when I get money, I always put some away.. been doing that forever.. he knows I have my own account at the bank and sometimes he gets insulted when I say I'm putting it away 'just incase'.. he's like 'just incase what'? with a real scared face on.. Poor thing.. lol

We don't think of who pays for what, we use each others money. Period
