Isn't this really tacky...

One of my GM, DH good friend got married last year August. These are people that ar very classy, did the whole country club thing and are always talking about etiquette (sp?). I just received their thank you card 2 weeks ago. Unbelievable.

I had gotten married a month after they did and sent out my TY's right away. We went to their house a couple of weeks after that and they were like 'you guys sent out your TY's pretty quick, you beat us'. Hubbay said 'well it is etiquette to send them out right away atleast within the 3 months after the wedding'. At that time it was already 4 months after their wedding and I was still waiting for their TY. Up to this day I cannot believe how rude people are.

the only thing I can think of is that maybe she got the cards from the photog early to write all the thank yous and since she needs a pic...it would be a major drag to write them all out again...
but she could have done them as holiday cards....

My family and I and FH went to a family friend's wedding in Florida in December. We flew down there, rented a car, hotel, and gave a HUGE gift (our family's have known each other since before we were born) and never received a Thank You It's very rude and dissapointing. I received an engagement gift from them and the same day I got, FH and I wrote out the Thank you and mailed it to them the next day.

Yes it is rude & no excuse. My cousin got married & we got her TY's 3yrs after the wedding, & 6 months before her divorce
