It cannot get any worse...[long]

Over the weekend I canceled my wedding. I just felt like the timing wasn't right and I wasn't ready. I felt as if I was suffocating as the day grew nearer. I don't know if it was cold feet or if I just don't want to be married ever..I don't know.We are going to stay together and maybe get married one day in the future...maybe not. All I know is that I couldnt go through with it. I was supposed to be married in nine days from today.

I took a few days off from work because of what I was going through..then yesterday..I go to work and GET LAID OFF.
I have been with my company for almost six years.
I have until December 22nd and then my position is being eliminated.

Its been a rough few days but I'm hanging in there.
Anyone know of any job openings?
I have extensive Travel and Customer Service background.

I am so sorry .
I am sure you made the right decision with cancelling the wedding - it is better to have done that now than go through with the wedding just because it was a few days away even though it might seem as if it was a horrible thing.. I am proud of you for being so brave and realizing what was right for you.

And I am sure another job will be right around the corner, they are giving you plenty of time to find another!

It sounds like you made the right decision for you, Im sorry to hear about your job, I hope you find something soon--im sure you will!!! Im sure it feels like everything is pretty crazy right now, but it will all work out!

I'm sure you did the right thing by cancelling the wedding. It is an extremely tough decision to make. But only you know what's right for you. It's better to cancel now then divorce later and that is coming from experience! Stay strong! We are all here for you if you need to talk! Things will get better in time!

Hey, apply to Jetblue for a flight attendant position. They open applications online from the 1st to the 7th of each month. Go onto www.jetblue.com.

I wish I was as brave as you, 5 years ago around this same week I was feeling the same thing, went to my mom and she told me work it out, if not you better be paying me back all the money....long story short, married in sep, separated in april....If your gutt tells you its not right...then you are making the right decision
